Embracing the concept of green burial, we want to offer you an opportunity to honour your loved ones in a way that is both environmentally conscious and deeply personal, amidst the natural splendour of the Garden of Peace. This approach aligns with the growing global movement towards sustainable and eco-friendly practices, ensuring that the final tribute to your loved one is as nurturing to the earth as it is honouring to their memory. |

How does the land ash scattering process look like?
The process of land ash scattering at the Garden of Peace is a sacred and thoughtful journey. Once your booking is completed and payments made, you will receive a confirmation slip, marking the beginning of this special tribute. With the confirmation slip in hand, you can bring the cremated remains of your loved one to the Ash Collection Centre. Here, the compassionate staff of NEA will assist you in transforming these remains into a fine, powdered form, a gentle and respectful preparation for scattering.
You will be provided with a one-time use canister to hold the ashes, although you are welcome to use a personal canister if you prefer. This part of the process is handled with utmost sensitivity, acknowledging the deep significance of these moments.
As you enter the Garden of Peace, you may wish to spend a moment in reflection or prayer at the facility located outside the North Gate. This quiet space allows for a personal and intimate farewell before proceeding to the scattering lane. There, amidst the natural serenity, you can scatter the ashes of your loved one onto the pebbles or gently into the soil, a symbolic gesture of returning them to the earth. This act is done with reverence, respecting the sanctity of the land space and the memories of those who rest there.
We kindly remind you that the Garden of Peace is a place of tranquillity and reflection. Therefore, performing religious ceremonies, burning offerings, playing music, or placing objects within the garden are not permitted, ensuring that the peace and dignity of the environment are maintained for all who come to remember their loved ones. We are here to support you through every step of this process, offering guidance and understanding to make this farewell as meaningful and comforting as possible.
