Angel Star : Baby, Child & Infant Funeral Services in Singapore

Baby and Child Funeral Services in Singapore: Tending to our littlest farewells.

Creating a Thematic Tribute as Unique as Their Spirit

We work closely with families to transform the funeral space into a world that reflects their child's unique essence. From favourite colours and beloved cartoons to cherished toys and balloons, these thematic funeral services in Singapore are designed to commemorate every milestone.

Through our partnership with Angel Hearts, we also provide hand-sewn burial gowns crafted from donated wedding dresses, ensuring your little one is dressed in love for their final journey.

Caskets may also be personalised with a name, a date, or placing a print of a short message,  to create a final resting place that is uniquely theirs.

Guided Support for Grieving Parents

Navigating the unthinkable loss of a child is a journey that no parent should walk alone. Our dedicated team handles all administrative matters with hospitals and clinics, allowing you the space to focus on your family.

From providing commemorative keepsakes like handprints to offering psychological bereavement support, we ensure your child’s farewell is handled with the utmost respect, sensitivity, and devoted tenderness.

Beyond our own support, we can also connect families to specialist grief resources for parents who wish to continue their healing alongside others who understand this specific loss.

Your child's story, however brief, is a vital and irreplaceable part of your family's story. At TLC, our Angel Star baby and child funeral services in Singapore are built around one belief — that every little life deserves a farewell filled with love, dignity, and meaning.

We invite you to reach out for a gentle, private consultation. We will listen, and we will take care of everything.

Registering a Death, Stillbirth or Foetal Loss in Singapore

Every family's circumstances are different, and the registration process depends on the stage of pregnancy or infancy at which the loss occurred. For a stillbirth, the attending doctor electronically certifies the loss, which automatically registers it with the Singapore authorities; there is no need to visit a counter in person. Parents can then download a digital stillbirth certificate within 30 days through the My Legacy website, which serves as the official document for funeral arrangements. Recent changes to Singapore law also allow parents to register a name for their stillborn child within one year of the stillbirth, so that a family may honour their child's identity if they choose to. For a pregnancy loss before 22 weeks, a formal birth certificate is not required; a memo signed by a doctor is sufficient for us to proceed with cremation arrangements on your behalf. Our team will guide you through exactly which of these steps applies to your family's circumstances, so that you do not need to navigate this alone.

Every Child Funeral Arrangement Is Different

Every baby or child funeral we arrange reflects your family’s specific wishes, faith, and circumstances, rather than a fixed structure. Because the length of the service, the choice of casket, and the degree of personalisation can all vary considerably, we discuss your requirements in detail from the outset and provide clear cost guidance before anything is confirmed. There is no single template for a farewell of this kind, and we believe transparency around cost should be part of that same personalised care. Speak to our team for a candid discussion of what your family’s arrangements are likely to involve.

Our family is deeply grateful to The Life Celebrant team for their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. From the first moment, they guided us gently through every step and filled in the blanks when we had no idea what to do. They anticipated needs we didn’t think of, and created a farewell that was not only dignified, but also deeply meaningful and healing.

Frequently Asked Questions About Baby, Child & Infant Funeral Services in Singapore.

  • Angel Star (天使心) is TLC's dedicated funeral service for babies, infants, and children in Singapore — including those lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, or at any stage of early life. It was created in recognition that every life, however brief, deserves to be acknowledged with dignity, love, and a proper farewell.

We work with families across all faiths and backgrounds, and with parents navigating loss at every gestational stage, from a few weeks to young children.

  • Every baby and child funeral service we arrange is shaped entirely around the family's wishes and, where relevant, their faith tradition. Some parents choose a religious service — Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, Catholic, or Soka — whilst others prefer a gentle, non-religious farewell. Personal belongings, flowers, and handwritten notes may be placed in the casket to accompany your little one.

Our team handles all hospital and clinic administration on your behalf, so you and your family can focus entirely on being together. If a birth certificate has not yet been obtained, cremation requires a memo signed by a doctor — we will guide you through this without you needing to navigate it alone.

  • A baby and child funeral service in Singapore is typically held over one to two days, though we will always work to whatever timeline feels right for your family. There is no prescribed format — whether you need something very quiet and private or wish to gather your wider circle of family and friends, we will arrange everything accordingly.

  • We provide infant and baby caskets that are specifically designed and proportioned for a child's funeral service in Singapore. These are available in several sizes to suit different needs — including 25cm, 35cm, and 38cm, with the industry standard being 43cm. Our caskets are suitable for miscarriages, stillbirths, and young children.

Our team will guide you gently through this choice and ensure your little one is laid to rest with the greatest possible care and tenderness.

  • Yes. TLC has extensive and compassionate experience in arranging foetus funeral services in Singapore, as well as services for babies lost at any gestational stage — from the earliest weeks of pregnancy through to infancy and young childhood.

We understand that grief does not begin at birth, and we believe that every family deserves the space and support to say goodbye properly, regardless of how early the loss occurred. Please reach out to us — we are here, and we will take care of everything.

  • The cost of a baby or child funeral varies depending on the length of the service, the casket chosen, and the degree of personalisation involved. As every arrangement at The Life Celebrant is tailored to your family’s wishes rather than following a fixed structure, we recommend speaking with our team directly for clear, itemised cost guidance before anything is confirmed.

  • It depends on the stage of loss. For a stillbirth, the attending doctor's certification automatically registers the loss, and a digital certificate is available within 30 days via My Legacy. For a pregnancy loss before 22 weeks, a doctor's memo is sufficient for us to proceed with cremation on your behalf, with no formal birth certificate required. Our team will confirm exactly what applies to your family's situation and handle the process for you.

Honouring the Little Ones Who Leave Us Too Soon

At The Life Celebrant, we believe every life deserves to be acknowledged with dignity and grace. Historically in Singaporean culture, it was often considered taboo to conduct funerals for babies or children; these losses were handled swiftly and silently, often denying families the chance to grieve properly.

However, in today’s more open-minded society, we understand that a proper farewell is essential for healing. Angel Star (天使心) breaks this silence, providing a compassionate sanctuary where parents can openly celebrate the immense impact of a life gone too early.
