Rather than your loved one passing directly from embalming to the wake, we create a protected window of private time — a final act of love — where family members can assist with the dressing, share words, fold paper cranes, and simply be together one last time before the wake begins.

In our tradition, the crane is a harbinger of eternal rest, believed to carry the souls of the dearly departed to paradise on its wings. By incorporating this classic Japanese craft into our ritual, we offer a final, symbolic window to guide your loved one towards the Light.
