Showers of Love
An expression of care, a journey to closure.

A Dignified Farewell Through Exquisite Care
At The Life Celebrant, we believe the final journey should be paved with the same tenderness and respect as life itself. Showers of Love 留心语 is our signature decedent spa care service — a serene, private ritual where your loved one is gently cleansed, groomed, and dressed with the utmost dignity, in a tranquil spa-like environment.
Unlike conventional funeral preparation, Showers of Love invites the family to be present and to participate. Rather than your loved one passing directly from embalming to the wake, we create a protected window of private time — a final act of love — where family members can assist with the dressing, share words, fold paper cranes, and simply be together one last time before the wake begins.
We offer Showers of Love to every family we walk alongside, because we believe every loved one deserves this final act of care.

A Final Act of Love and Thanksgiving
At its core, Showers of Love is a sacred space where logistics fade and love takes centre stage. It serves as:
-
A Final Act of Service — To shower our departed with love.
-
A Final Word of Thanksgiving — To express our grief and gratitude.
-
A Final Window of Quality Time — To remember beautiful memories.
-
This ritual allows families a rare moment of stillness, transforming the final goodbye into a profound expression of honour and cherished connection.

Restoring Dignity Through Decedent Spa Care
Our specialised funeral spa service in Singapore goes beyond traditional body preparation. In a tranquil environment, we use calming essential oils and gentle grooming to create a peaceful appearance.
This sensory journey ensures your loved one is restored to a state of calm and grace, providing a beautiful final memory that looks as if they are simply in a deep, restful sleep.
A Journey Guided by Light:
The Orizuru Ritual
Showers of Love (留心语) harmoniously blends Western philosophies with Eastern cultural practices through the sacred art of origami. We have chosen the Orizuru (折鹤 ori - folded, tsuru - crane) or paper crane—to help families navigate the depths of grief and gratitude.
In our tradition, the crane is a harbinger of eternal rest, believed to carry the souls of the dearly departed to paradise on its wings. By incorporating this classic Japanese craft into our ritual, we offer a final, symbolic window to guide your loved one towards the Light.

Our family is deeply grateful to The Life Celebrant team for their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. From the first moment, they guided us gently through every step and filled in the blanks when we had no idea what to do. They anticipated needs we didn’t think of, and created a farewell that was not only dignified, but also deeply meaningful and healing.
Special mention to Ms Michelle Koh, Ms Jamie, JK and the team — your kindness and respect made a very difficult time much lighter to bear. Thank you, TLC.
